The bank approves to settle with the seller to sell the home for less than it is owed. To have a smooth short sale transacation, follow these tips:
Do not low ball. It has probably been reduced as low as they can go.
Have your commitment letter ( pre-approval) ready to submit with your offer, or better yet, make it an all cash offer. Cash is KING.
Do not ask for a due diligence period longer than 10 days.Have your ducks in a row.
Do not ask for a tremendous amount of contributions for closing costs.
