Big city or small town? I have experienced both first hand. My first small town living experience took place when I moved to Jackson, Georgia. I must admit at first I was not all that happy but looking back.... those were some good years.
I was able to walk around the square and encounter numerous friendly faces, I could get store credit with no interest...just my word, everyone knew my parents so getting in trouble was more difficult and last, there was the sense of community.
It is not always easy to live in a small town but, for those of you who can, I recommend it. At least once, add this chapter to your life and you will not regret it!!!!
